²ÝÁñÉçÇø is seeking applicants interested in filling a seat left vacant after former Trustee Joshua Rivera resigned to relocate outside of his Trustee Area. The board decided at a special meeting on Oct. 2, 2023, to make a provisional appointment to cover the remainder of Rivera's term. His seat is up for election in November 2024.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø District (²ÝÁñÉçÇø), the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Foundation, and HCN Bank announced a historic $1 million naming rights and sponsorship agreement that names ²ÝÁñÉçÇø's new stadium at its Menifee Valley Campus "HCN Bank Stadium."

²ÝÁñÉçÇø (²ÝÁñÉçÇø) will host several events to celebrate Pride Month in October. Kick-off events will be held on Monday, Oct. 2 at each of its campuses and the fifth annual Drag Show will be held at 6 p.m. in the San Jacinto Campus Theater. Events will continue through October.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø Board Chair Joshua Rivera announced his resignation during the regular September 14 Board of Trustees meeting as he is moving outside of his service area with his new wife.

The ²ÝÁñÉçÇø (²ÝÁñÉçÇø) Board of Trustees on Thursday, September 14 adopted a $157,690,158 Unrestricted General Fund budget for 2023-2024. The Unrestricted General Fund pays for operations, materials, supplies, salaries and benefits, among other things.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø (²ÝÁñÉçÇø) hosted the 12th Annual 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony on Monday, September 11. Veterans, first responders, ²ÝÁñÉçÇø students and employees, and members of the community attended the event at the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Menifee Valley Campus to honor, remember, and unite.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø (²ÝÁñÉçÇø) welcomes the community to join the 9/11 commemoration ceremony scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday, September 11 at the Menifee Valley Campus.

The ²ÝÁñÉçÇø (²ÝÁñÉçÇø) Eagles football team will play their first home game against the Citrus College Owls in the new 5,000-seat stadium at the Menifee Valley Campus at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 9.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø (²ÝÁñÉçÇø) hosted a dedication ceremony on September 5 to officially open the more than $50 million state-of-the-art Athletics & Kinesiology Complex. College officials, faculty, staff, local leaders, and community members attended the event and together celebrated this exciting milestone in the college's history.
