The ²ÝÁñÉçÇø (²ÝÁñÉçÇø) Foundation Board of Directors on Monday unanimously voiced its support for the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø Equity Pledge.

I have been watching with deep sorrow and anguish since news outlets aired the video of the senseless killing of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer. Each day, outrage grows and protests understandably spread out across the country. As the Superintendent/President of ²ÝÁñÉçÇø, I am committed to standing in solidarity with those within our communities, and our country, that are rightly angry and appalled at the lack of progress against racism and the continued injustice for our African American brothers and sisters.

Dr. Brown, who has been ²ÝÁñÉçÇø's interim Vice President of Instruction, was selected this week after a rigorous search that resulted in a highly competitive field of candidates.

We can't wait to celebrate with you tonight (Thursday, May 21), with our first Virtual Graduation Ceremony. The fun will begin at 4:45 p.m.

²ÝÁñÉçÇø will award a record-breaking 3,554 degrees and certificates to 1,958 graduates. That's 251 more graduates than last year, when the previous record was set.
